What are the payment methods I can use for my purchases?

We have two different types of payment method for your purchases. After clicking on “Buy”, please choose one of the following and proceed with the instructions:


1. Credit Cards (via eNETS) - recommended
2. Paypal


Are there any hidden charges or commitments?

No,not at all. The details, costs and conditions will be spelt out clearly before you make your purchases, there will not be any further commitment. 

Why there is additional $1 charged by Paypal? 

For security concern, sometimes Paypal might temporarily freeze $1 for the verification of your credit card, and will eventually refund to you in 1-2 weeks. 


PLUS! BIGDEAL REFUND POLICY


Can I refund my coupon before the deal ends?

Unlike other coupon websites which typically do not offer refunds for purchases made regardless of how much you beg and plea, Plus! BigDeal totally understands your predicament and provides a refund policy with you in mind. All you need to do is to email us at support@plusbigdeal.sg and we will be happy to refund you the full amount you’ve paid.

 

How would the refund be made?

We will make the refund according to your mode of payment, e.g. if you pay by eNETS, we will instruct eNETS to refund your bank or credit card; if you pay by PayPal, we will refund via PayPal. 

Please note that some banks may take 4-6 weeks to reverse the transaction, and you may only see the refund reflected in your credit card statement on the following month.


Can I get a refund if the deal has already ended?

Yes, if the deal has ended you could still get a refund! There will be a 10% administrative charge on the coupon value (or $2, whichever is higher). Starting from 1 October 2012, the refund will be in BigDeal credits only.

But the good news is, we will refund you even if you have missed the redemption expiry date (up to 30 days) unless the deal has a special term and condition that states that refund is not allowed.

 

What if I have missed the expiry date?

If you have missed the expiry date, you can contact the merchant and ask for an extension, as some merchants are willing to accept late redemption within a certain period of time.

In the event the merchant is not able to extend the redemption period, we will refund you if it is within 30 days after the redemption period has ended. This refund will be in BigDeal credits with a 10% administrative charge on the coupon value (or $2, whichever is higher).

However there will be some exceptions to the refund policy e.g. customized products where we can’t give you a refund. However such exceptions will be stated clearly in the deal’s terms and conditions. 

Please note we will only refund the coupon amount. For travel deals, you will have to contact the travel agency for the amount you paid to them directly, such as airport taxes and other miscellaneous fees.

What is LinkPoints?

LinkPoints is the rewards point you can earn and redeem in the The Plus! Programme. LinkPoints is as good as cash, as it can be used to offset your purchases at participating merchants, or to redeem specially priced items from Plus! Online Rewards and monthly StarBuys.

 

What is the Plus! Programme about?

The Plus! Programme is an enhanced loyalty programme, created in line with NTUC’s objective to bring more relevant privileges and benefits to union members and customers of NTUC social enterprises. It enriches your life by ‘adding dollars to your wallet’ through discounts and meaningful rewards you can enjoy with LinkPoints, and optimizes your time through fuss-free redemptions, all while you shop.

 

What are the benefits of the Plus! Programme? 

Plus! members can look forward to earning LinkPoints at over 900 merchant outlets and over 30 million Visa merchants worldwide. Members will also enjoy enhanced benefits and privileges at NTUC’s Social Enterprises.


How does the Plus! Programme work?

Earning LinkPoints or Enjoying Privileges: 

Present your Plus! card upon payment to earn LinkPoints, or enjoy Plus! privileges at hundreds of participating merchants’ outlets in Singapore.
You will also earn LinkPoints for every coupon purchased on Plus! BigDeal.
If you are holding the NTUC Plus! VISA card or Plus! VISA card, charge your purchase to your VISA card to earn LinkPoints at over 30 million VISA merchants worldwide.

 

Redemption of Linkpoints:

You can redeem your LinkPoints as cash to offset your purchases from Plus!, BigDeal and at participating Plus! merchants.
You can also redeem your LinkPoints for treats available at Plus! Online Rewards website www.plus.com.sg/onlinerewards, or at the Member’s Services Centre at

- NTUC Centre, One Marina Boulevard, or 
- NTUC Club, 1 Pasir Ris Close, Downtown East.

EARNING LINKPOINTS ON PLUS! BIGDEAL


When and for what purchases will LinkPoints be issued?

LinkPoints will be issued for all purchases you make on BigDeal within 2 weeks after the deal is closed. 


What is the rate of LinkPoints issued to Plus! Card Members?

If you are a NTUC Member:

-You will earn 2 LinkPoints for every $1 spent.

-Using your NTUC Plus! Visa Credit Card for payment, you will earn 3 LinkPointsfor every $1 spent.

-Using your NTUC Plus! Visa Debit Card for payment, you will earn 2.5 LinkPointsfor every $1 spent.

If you are non-NTUC Member:

-You will earn 1 LinkPoint for every $1 spent.

-Using your Plus! Visa Credit Card, you will earn 2 LinkPoints for every $1spent.

-Using your Plus! Visa Debit Card, you will earn 1.5 LinkPoints for every $1spent. 


What if I am not a Plus! Member? What will happen to the LinkPoints I’ve earned?

If you are not a Plus! Member, you can’t cannot enjoy the LinkPoints you earn from your purchases on Plus! BigDeal and it will be forfeited. So to ensure that you do not miss out on any benefits, sign up to be a Plus! Member now!

 

How soon will the LinkPoints be credited to my account?

Please allow us 7 working days (after the deal is ended) for LinkPoints to be credited into your account. For the additional LinkPoint earned by using eNETS with your NTUC Plus! Visa or Plus! Visa credit/debit card, please allow us 1 month to credit into your account.

REDEMPTION OF LINKPOINTS


What is the redemption value of 1 LinkPoint?

150 LinkPoints is equivalent to $1. For example, a coupon which costs $16 can be redeemed with 2,400 LinkPoints.


Can I accumulate my LinkPoints and use them elsewhere, e.g. FairPrice?

Yes, you may use your LinkPoints to redeem rewards or to offset your purchases at any Plus! Merchant outlets.


I have stopped being a Plus! Member; can I still redeem my LinkPoints?

You can still redeem your LinkPoints before they expire and before the termination of your NTUC Plus! Card.


REFUNDS
For refunds of purchases with LinkPoints awarded, will you deduct theLinkPoints issued?

Yes, the LinkPoints issued will be deducted from your account upon refund.
If I would like to refund a coupon redeemed with LinkPoints, will you refund me in cash or LinkPoints?

We will refund you according to what you have paid for the coupon. Please note that there will be a 10% administrative fee (min $2) on the coupon value for the refund.

How does Plus! BigDeal manage to get these great discounts?

The concept is quite simple: buying power in numbers. More buyers means greater savings! Local merchants in Singapore are happy to offer these discounts if there is a minimum number of customer buying. 


What does it mean when the deal is activated?

It means that everyone who has clicked “Buy” can enjoy the deal since the minimum number of buyers required to trigger the deal has been reached.


What happens if there is not enough people signing up for a deal?

You can monitor the number of buyers for the deal on our homepage. If there were not enough people signing up, the deal would not be activated and no one would be charged. If more buyers are needed, you can invite your friends to buy using Facebook, Twitter or email.


I don't want to miss the deal. How do I make sure it is activated?

All our deals are time-sensitive and require a minimum number of people to sign up before it can be activated. Click on “Buy” before the deal ends and go through the quick and secured payment process. Your deal will only be activated if there are enough people signing up, so spread the word to your friends to ensure the deal is on!


What happens after I have authorised my payment?

Once the deal ends and is activated, you will receive an email confirming that your credit card or PayPal account has been charged. An e-Coupon will be sent to your Plus! BigDeal Account for printing after payment is received. If the minimum number of sign-up is not reached, the deal will be cancelled and you will not be charged.


I have bought a deal, how do I redeem or use it?

Depending on the redemption mode of each deal, we will either email you the e-Coupon, or place an e-Coupon on your Plus! BigDeal Account for you to print and redeem the service. Simply follow the redemption instructions on our confirmation letter and enjoy your purchase!


When can I use my Coupon?

You can be assured that we at Plus! BigDeal will always negotiate deals with the least restriction for you. However to be sure, please check the redemption terms on your Coupon for any usage restriction imposed by the merchant and service provider (e.g. certain Coupon can only be used on certain day or time). 

You do not need to use the Coupon on the day you purchase the deal, you just have to make sure you use it before the redemption period is over! 


Can I combine my Coupon with other offers or specials? 

No, unless it is otherwise indicated. 


Do I need to use the full value of my Coupon at one go?

Yes, you will need to use the full value of your coupon atone go. There will not be any stored-credit or cash-back for any portion of the coupon value that you did not use. 


What if the merchant or service provider for my Coupon has closed down? 

In any unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances that make it impossible for you to redeem your Coupon, we will give you a full refund. We will back up every deal that we have sold.
